The Executive to Entrepreneur program is designed to give you clarity and inspire you to take action on your next chapter of entrepreneurship. I want you to consider these questions: Why are you here today? Why are you considering taking the leap from executive to entrepreneur?
Here are some common reasons for taking the shift into entrepreneurship…
1. Create More Income
Who doesn't want to generate more income? I'm a big proponent of actually creating and leveraging multiple streams of income!
2. Create Your Own Schedule
This was one reason I truly took the leap into entrepreneurship.
3. Create a better work-life balance
I'm not sure about you, but I know it was hard for me to work my 9-5 and also take care of my home, my kids, and other obligations I had.
When working with clients who are at a pivotal point in their lives and want to go into entrepreneurship, we help them through three phases; pivot, prepare, and execution.
These phases are the exact ones I went through when I decided to take the leap:
1. Pivot. To pivot or not to pivot? That is the question. Making the decision to pivot is one of the hardest parts.
When I did a survey of women and asked them the question, "what is keeping you from making the pivot?" the number one reason was—can you guess? Fear. Fear of failing. Fear of the unknown. Fear of what everyone else would think.
But do you know how to get over the fear? Educate yourself. Understand the ins and outs of what you're doing and weigh the pros and cons.
2. Prepare. A lot of individuals think about the business side of this phase. Do I have the right business name? Do I have the right customer? Do I have the marketing tools?
These are all important questions, but you also have to think about the personal side. What things do I need to put in place to help me on my journey to taking the leap? So I want you to think about the top three things you need to do to prepare both personally and professionally.
3. Execution. This is one of the hardest phases, and many individuals don't even get to this phase because they're stuck in the pivot and prepare phases. This stage is the hardest because it's difficult for us just actually to start—to just take the leap!
A lot of individuals stop at this phase because the fear just kicks in. Are you ready to take the leap? Are you ready to create the life that you deserve through entrepreneurship?
Join us on October 13th for our Executive to Entrepreneurship program! This six-week program will help guide you and create a roadmap to help you create the life you deserve through entrepreneurship.
